Rank always had its privilege, no matter what army you’re in, and the French are no different. So here we have a folding campaign cabinet, in a carrying case, so when you’re up on that fancy grouse hunt, you can have your man set it up, so you may keep you shaving stuff, journals, shells, shirts, shoes, and skivvies all neatly together. The unit sets up easily. The frame is tubular aluminum, with an OD polyester cover. When you look at it from the front, there are five aluminum-framed, formica shelves 19” x 16” on the RH side, with shoe storage for five pair on the outside wall. On the LH side, you have a hanging closet, 19” x 61”, with five chrome coat hangers, for jackets, trousers and shirts, and on the outside wall there, a vented dirty clothes hamper! The back wall has large screen vents, to allow air circulation, which is important in the tropics, and the front closes totally with the use of a large, non-fouling coil zippers and velcro. This unit has a cloth bottom, so no snakes, rats and other pests can enter. The outside top of this armoire has a framed formica surface, to give you a hard, water-fast surface. The entire unit collapses into a zippered carrying case measuring 40” x 22” x 5”, and weighs 38 lbs complete.
