Soviet Russian Ceremonial Daggers

Kremlin Motif
Sailing Ship & Anchor Motif
Back to List
Last Fall we had three Soviet Russian Ceremonial Daggers on our catalog’s back cover. The first we’d had in over eight years, and they were scooped up the second day our catalogs hit, but that’s the problem with rarities. Our man in Russia, Yuri, goes crazy searching for them, for us, and scored some. Yeah.., three, to be exact. One is a 1992 Naval dagger has a Sailing Ship & Anchor, the other two have the Kremlin on the scabbard, from 1957. As with so many things Russian, these are works of art. The daggers have solid brass ferrules, with engraving. The handles are faux ivory. The blades are highly polished steel, with the makers and dates engraved. The scabbards are made of leather-covered wood, with brass. The daggers lock into the scabbards and release with thumb pusher buttons. The price is steep but fair, considering there aren’t any out there! 13.5” x 3.25”, weighs 10.2 oz complete
