Beautiful, early 20th century Inkwell from The Royal Mail Steam Packet Company. You’ll note that it has a wide base, so the sea motion won’t upend it. The hinged lid opens to find a glass inkwell insert. (This glass is intact with a minor break on the rim, which doesn’t affect the function). Rare and gorgeous. 5.5” Ø base x 3’’, weighs 1 lb. 2 oz.
