Hensoldt’s parent, Carl Zeiss is world renowned for its cutting-edge optics, and most of their technology and manufacturing technology is still in use today. These armored 8x30 binoculars were manufactured between 1959-1963. When these binoculars were available to the Bundeswehr, demand was very high because of the excellent optical quality and very high resolution, a Zeiss trademark. They became the preferred field glasses for the German Army. Issued In Good Condition (Sealed in a foil pouch). A VERY RARE FIND.
