E. Leitz, Wetzler (post WW-1) Wood 1917


Very rudimentary, made of wood in the immediate aftermath of WW-1 in Germany, when the sale of iron was restricted or forbidden. Smooth operating, with a brass monocular tube with single lens. No condenser or diaphragm, but with two-sided mirror. A real collector’s piece! Comes in wooden case. 6.25” x 4.5” x 13”, weighs 2 lbs 4.6 oz
