The term Brassards is originally French, deriving from bras meaning "arm". Brassards were used to temporarily attach insignia, such as rank, to uniforms to signify a temporary unit, role or regiment. Made of 100% Wool with clasp. Very good condition.We have them in four colors. We don’t know the colors of the regiments. If you do, please share. ~17” long
