This is a carefully designed and engineered pocket sundial. When properly leveled, oriented, (to ensure that the gnomon points due north or south in the Northern or Southern Hemisphere, respectively, it has a compass), and adjusted for latitude, is more accurate than any watch, and will show the exact time—NB: Not “time zone” time—for any longitude in either hemisphere. So that it can accurately show the time, all three adjustments are necessary. measures 3.5” Ø
