Back in the more gracious forms of travel, when you entered or exited the Pullman car, the porters would place one of these steps on the ground for the passengers to alight. We offer these extremely sturdy Pullman Steps as simply highly decorated step stools, to give you just enough height to get into the high cabinets, without fear of collapse. Beautifully and massively constructed of seasoned mahogany, with glue and dowel construction. These could accommodate an elephant!
