Button Scissors are made for removing sewn buttons cleanly without cutting or snagging the surrounding cloth. Their compact size and specialized tip make them useful at a sewing table, alterations bench, or wardrobe-care kit.

The blades are very sharp, with narrow pointed tips that curve toward the button thread. That shape allows the scissors to reach beneath even small, fine buttons while keeping the cutting edge away from the fabric.
