The Green Backpacker Space Pen keeps a dependable writing instrument attached to the gear you already carry. The cap has an integrated key ring for keys, a backpack loop, tool pouch, tackle bag, or travel kit; remove it and the compact aluminum pen becomes a comfortable 5.65-inch writer.
Inside is Fisher’s pressurized PR4 black-ink refill with a medium point. It writes upside down, at any angle, underwater, through grease, across most surfaces, and in temperatures from -30°F to +250°F. It is also rated to write roughly three times longer than the average ballpoint and can operate in the gravity-free vacuum of space. Those capabilities are useful whether you are recording a repair in the garage or a bearing in poor weather.
The two-piece aluminum body has a green anodized finish and measures 4.09 inches closed with a 0.40-inch diameter. It is made in the USA and arrives in a Moonscape gift box with an astronaut sleeve. Any Fisher PR refill fits when the original cartridge is spent.
