Boker Plus Extension Knife | D2 Field Knife With Locking Extended Blade

The Boker Plus Extension Knife uses a two-position blade system to provide a controlled working length and additional reach in one field tool. The D2 blade locks at 4.7 inches for close tasks such as gutting and skinning, then extends to 7.28 inches when a longer cutting edge is useful.

A heavy-duty cross bolt secures the blade in either configuration and can be screwed into the handle without tools. The handle combines G10 and steel for grip and structure, with a profile influenced by medieval Baselard swords. A striking spike at the base adds another field-use surface and gives the knife its distinctive form.

Fully extended, the knife measures 11.81 inches overall and weighs 15.55 ounces. The unusual mechanism deserves the same disciplined checks as any serious tool: confirm the cross bolt is fully seated before work, keep the moving components clean, and use the custom-fitted Kydex sheath for transport and storage.

  • Hunting, field dressing, skinning, and heavy outdoor cutting

  • Collectors of mechanical knife designs and uncommon Boker Plus engineering
