The DAVOSA Apnea Diver is a Swiss-made automatic dive watch designed around the particular demands of freediving. Built in cooperation with freediver Nik Linder, it combines a serious 20 ATM case, ceramic bezel, sapphire crystal, and DAVOSA’s DAV 3021 automatic movement with a dial feature made for controlled breathing practice.
The standout detail is the blue, white, and red timing ring at the edge of the dial. Rather than decoration, the color sequence follows a freediving breathing rhythm: five seconds to inhale, fifteen seconds to hold, and ten seconds to exhale. It gives the wearer a simple visual guide for breath training without needing to count or run a separate timer.
The black PVD-plated stainless steel case measures 46 mm wide and is fitted with a one-way rotating high-tech ceramic bezel, scratch-resistant anti-reflective sapphire crystal, screw-down crown, and screw-down case back. The curved case construction can also be set upright using its integrated fold-out ring, turning the watch into a small tabletop timing instrument for breathing exercises.
