The Green Backpacker Space Pen is a compact, American-made writing tool built to stay with you until the exact moment every ordinary pen has vanished. Attach it to keys, a backpack, belt loop, fishing sling, tool pouch, camping kit, or glovebox setup, and you have a real pen within reach instead of another story about where one ought to be.
The Backpacker uses a Fisher pressurized PR4 refill, giving it the writing performance that made Space Pens famous. It writes upside down, at any angle, underwater, through grease, in extreme temperatures from -30°F to +250°F, on most surfaces, and in the gravity-free vacuum of space. It also writes roughly three times longer than the average ballpoint, which is useful when the nearest office supply drawer is a few ridgelines away.
The two-piece aluminum body has a durable green anodized finish and a key ring built into the cap for easy carry. Open, it writes like a full-size pen; closed, it rides compactly on everyday gear.
