Pocket Survival Wire Saw – Compact Outdoor Cutting Tool
The Pocket Survival Wire Saw provides a 27.5-inch stainless steel cutting wire between two large finger rings. It coils into a very small space, making it useful when a rigid saw will not fit in the pack.
The saw weighs 16 grams and is intended for field cutting of wood, plastic, and bone. Large rings give each hand a defined grip, while alternating pulls move the wire through the material.
It is lighter and more compact than the French Commando T-handle saw, but the finger-ring format also requires careful pressure and hand positioning during extended cuts.
What it’s for:
- Compact field cutting of wood and plastic
- Emergency or survival kits with strict space limits
- Keeping a backup cutting tool in a pack or vehicle
Materials & Construction:
- Stainless steel cutting wire
- Large metal finger rings
- Flexible coilable design
